LET ME PLAY YOU THE SONG OF MY PEOPLE

okay first off. Things I am bad at: Making wings, remembering which side things go on, not cracking up while taking these photos. Things I am good at: Being horrifyingly tacky (you can’t tell but the magical codpiece and its stripes are covered in glitter) and doing things that everybody else is too stupid to do.

I made this because hairspring bugged me into it, and it was really fun. I purposely chose terrible fabrics because when you remove the hood and codpiece and undershirt, I’ve got motherfucking fleece pajamas up in this bitch (also because I liked srsrazzmatazz’s god tier Vriska made of fleece and it made me want to do a fleece god tier too). I aaaaalmost made the accent color green, which would have been both sopor slime and tentacles, but then I realized what those shoes looked like to me and then nothing would do but the single shiniest gold fabric in the universe. You can seriously reflect light off my shoes.

I made the wings smaller than depicted in the artwork so I could theoretically pack them up or something and to avoid the Handmaid issue of running into everybody with my giant wings, but then I realized I don’t want to wear this in public and this is a joke costume made for like $30 and a high cost of sanity so do I even give a shit of course I don’t.
